Instrument Technician (FPSO)

Oil & Gas Contract Offshore — Saltpond / Sankofa 28 days on / 28 days off

Our client operates a floating production storage and offloading (FPSO) unit off the Ghana coast and requires an experienced Instrument Technician to maintain all instrumentation, control and metering systems.

Key responsibilities

Maintain, calibrate and troubleshoot process instrumentation
Carry out ATEX equipment inspection and maintenance
Support process safety management (PSM) activities
Document all maintenance activities in CMMS

Requirements

HND/BSc in Instrumentation, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
Minimum 4 years in oil & gas, preferably offshore FPSO
Proficiency with HART communicators and Honeywell/ABB DCS systems
Current BOSIET and offshore medical
