Marine Superintendent

Maritime Full-time Tema, Greater Accra Permanent — shore-based

Foss Services is placing a Marine Superintendent with a ship management company in Tema. The role oversees fleet technical and operational compliance for a fleet of 8 vessels on the West Africa route.

Key responsibilities

Oversee ISM/ISPS compliance and PSC preparation across the fleet
Coordinate drydock, major repairs and class surveys
Review and approve planned maintenance systems (PMS) completion
Investigate near-misses and incidents; implement corrective actions

Requirements

Former Master Mariner (Class I) or Chief Engineer with strong management background
Minimum 3 years in ship management or maritime superintendency
ISM, ISPS and MLC 2006 implementation experience
Ability to travel to vessels on short notice
